Grants Committee
To serve on this committee, volunteers must be current (fully paid/renewed for that grant cycle) Impact100 Martin members before the first Grants Committee meeting for that grant cycle. Grants Committee members read, thoughtfully review, score, and rank the grant applications from interested nonprofit organizations. This committee conducts an initial review and chooses nonprofits that will advance to full grant application status. The group then attends site visits of the shortlisted nonprofits and presents the finalists to Impact100 Martin members at the Grants Awards Celebration. At the event, members vote to determine the Grants Recipients for the year. There are six required meetings from November – April. All Grants Committee members must attend two trainings to prepare them for this process.
The Grants Committee also acts as the liaison between Impact100 Martin and our Grant Recipients. They monitor our Grant Recipients’ progress against the original application/budget and keep Impact100 Members informed of any organizational updates.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is active year-round and is responsible for membership retention and recruitment. Committee members plan and host prospective membership events to promote engagement within our communities. This committee also manages the Impact100 Martin scholarship program, which allows active members to sponsor a prospective member who cannot meet the financial requirements of membership.

This committee is also responsible for the Community Captains Subcommittee. Community Captains assist in planning a few small Meet & Mingle events in their community each year for existing members and women who want to learn more about Impact100. At these events, Captains encourage existing members to renew and prospective members to join. Additionally, Captains assist with planning membership gatherings with the volunteer hostesses, including designing relevant promotional announcements. The Membership Committee is a great place to get to know Impact100 Martin members in your community.
This Subcommittee is led by Judy Zanchi and Sarah Murphy communitycaptain@impact100martin.org
Member Engagement Committee
The Member Engagement Committee is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment. We believe that active participation in Impact100 Martin is key to a fulfilling membership experience, and our committee is committed to providing opportunities for members to connect, learn, and contribute. This committee plans and hosts various activities throughout the year. Each committee member is the hostess of one or two events per year, with the support of the entire committee.
The Member Engagement Committee has a new Subcommittee, The Welcome Circle. New members will receive a personalized welcome from one of our dedicated Welcome Circle volunteers. They will introduce new members to other members, answer their questions, and provide them with essential resources to help get started.
This Subcommittee is led by Jacqui Costanzo and Dawn Thomas.
By joining the Member Engagement Committee, you can help to create a thriving organization where members feel connected with other members and our non-profit Grant Recipients, informed about the needs of our community, and inspired by the opportunity to affect change within the five broad Focus Areas of Impact100 — Education; Family; Health & Wellness; Arts & Culture; and Environment, Preservation & Recreation.

Communications Committee
Strong communications are critical for Impact100 Martin to engage our members, prospective members, and nonprofit applicants. This committee is responsible for communications with our members and the community about the achievements of our Grant Recipients, creating invitations for events and Meet & Mingle gatherings, and developing newsletters, announcements, and social media posts. Media and writing experience are helpful. This committee also oversees the website, member portal, graphic design, as well as public relations. Graphic design encompasses creating event invitations, ads, and web graphics. This committee operates year-round.
