See Your Impact! Tykes & Teens
Walk-in Assessment Center Open House | Briefing and Welcome Breakfast
Witness the transformation! Tykes & Teens has established a walk-in clinic for children’s behavioral health care needs. Since opening in August, the Tykes & Teens Walk-in Assessment Center has successfully linked children and their families to much-needed resources and helped many children avoid a crisis. The biggest success is that the feedback from both parents and the community has been very supportive, and everyone expresses this is a much-needed service missing in the continuum of care.
As one of our four 2023-2024 Grant Recipients, we will see the renovations and additions made with the $100,000 Impact Grant.
See firsthand how your generosity is making a difference in our community.

Impact Book Club
The Frozen River by Ariel Lawson
Maine, 1789: When the Kennebec River freezes, entombing a man in the ice, Martha Ballard is summoned to examine the body and determine the cause of death. As a midwife and healer, she is privy to much of what goes on behind closed doors in Hallowell. Her diary is a record of every birth and death, crime, and debacle that unfolds in the close-knit community. Months earlier, Martha documented the details of an alleged rape committed by two of the town’s most respected gentlemen—one of whom has now been found dead in the ice. But when a local physician undermines her conclusion, declaring the death to be an accident, Martha is forced to investigate the shocking murder on her own.
Throughout one winter, as the trial nears, and whispers and prejudices mount, Martha doggedly pursues the truth. Her diary soon lands at the center of the scandal, implicating those she loves, and compelling Martha to decide where her loyalties lie.
This is an opportunity to dive deep into a book that inspires, challenges, and leaves a lasting impression. This Impact100 Martin member engagement series brings together women who enjoy reading books that make you think!

Please RSVP by January 31, 2025

Martin County is an amazing place to call home. We can boast of having over 100,000 acres of parks and preserves. Martin County manages over 35,000 acres of environmentally sensitive land, and through the Martin County Forever plan approved by voters, we will be protecting another 46,000 acres of new parks and preserves.
With this opportunity comes a community-wide commitment to protecting our water quality, natural resources, wildlife habitats, and recreation for residents of all ages and abilities to enjoy the life-enhancing benefits of nature and the outdoors.
Please join us as Vincent Encomio, John Mahle, and Keven Kirwin discuss the innovative work being done in Martin County to protect our unique environment and provide unique recreational experiences to residents and visitors. Through the Explore Natural Martin program, we will also hear about artificial reef deployment and Guided Ecotourism programs. There’s so much to learn about Martin County!
Impactful Conversations is a new initiative to learn about Martin County and the Treasure Coast’s most pressing challenges and opportunities in our five Focus areas: Arts and Culture; Environment, Preservation & Recreation; Education; Family; and Health and Wellness.
