Sue is a graduate of James Madison University and had successful careers in advertising, human resources and public information before moving to Florida from Virginia in 1999. After moving to a place “where she only knew four people,” Sue worked as a grant writer for the local school district and later a development director for a local nonprofit. Sue returned to the business world when her children were “launched” and recently retired as a Financial Advisor. The common theme through her professional life has been service; her mother instilled in her the imperative that we should all give back to the communities where we live. Sue loves to play tennis and golf, travel, read and spend time with her family. She devotes much of her time and energy to Impact100 Martin, her church, Rotary International, and several other organizations and also works part-time as a travel advisor.
